Silviu is a RICS-accredited urban planner and designer with 3 years of experience in urbanism and smart city field and over 12 years in digital and creative fields. He is a member of the Center of Excellence in Planning and the International Urban Alliance and also he is a graduate of the RICS-Accredited Postgraduate Program of Advanced Studies in Urbanism and Real Estate Development (ASURED).

As an urbanist specialising in competitive and smart cities, Silviu gained extensive experience working in smart city projects, interdisciplinary creative fields, IT sectors and initiatives involving self-aware cities, AI and frontier research, in order to refresh the cities of tomorrow through human-augmented technology and technology-augmented creativity.

Silviu was expert collaborator for “Laser Valley – Land of Lights” project in 2015, the international smart city of physics around the world’s biggest laser, ELI-NP, designing strategic frameworks and visions for an engaged community and urban developments around the R&D centers. His first master dissertation was focused on developing a global study on the role of smart city approaches in competitiveness and based on findings, he designed the urban strategy Smart City Kronstadt 2030. For his RICS-accredited thesis Silviu developed 5-dimensional responsive plans for Victoria, London and McMurdo Station, Antarctica.
