We are delighted to announce that the Hailsham Neighbourhood Plan has been shortlisted in the Neighbourhood Planning Category at the upcoming Planning Awards.
The Awards, which are organised by Planning Magazine, celebrate excellence in planning and placemaking. The award winners will be announced at a ceremony in June, to be held at The Savoy Hotel in London.
Troy Planning + Design has been working with Hailsham Town Council over the past two years’ to help develop a Plan that seeks to ensure that new growth is of the highest quality, strengthening and enhancing the quality of the town centre. It promotes the concept of the ‘ten-minute town’, making walking and cycling more attractive propositions, and where access is improved for all, to all uses and activities.
The Plan has been informed by and responds to extensive consultation, including the use of visual preference surveys to draw out key messages for policy intervention.
