Job Position: Social Media Intern

About Troy Planning + Design: Troy Planning + Design is a growing urban planning & urban design consultancy with offices in Amsterdam, London and Portland, Oregon. We make sustainable and inclusive plans for cities, towns, villages and neighbourhoods. The company was founded in 2013 and is currently writing its next chapter of growth and development and we require assistance with our social media strategy and marketing activities. This internship is in our Amsterdam office (Concertgebouwplein in Oud Zuid).

Responsibilities are to:

Assist with social media and content creation.
Be proactively involved with LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and focused on growing the account.
Provide creative ideas and opportunities regarding the visuals and storytelling of the brand.
Provide content and photo editing.
Update company website (WordPress).
Prepare company newsletter.

Requirements:

You live in the Netherlands (Amsterdam).
You live and breath social media.
You are currently looking for relevant experience in social media.
You may be a marketing/communication/e-commerce/media student or equivalent.
Expert knowledge of the English language, writing and speaking. Dutch language would be a bonus.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (including Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop).
Pro-active and driven.
You are hands on and have a can-do mentality and always look for opportunities.
You are interested in people, towns and cities and innovation.
You are available for at least 6 months.
You are available immediately.
