Daan van Doormaal is the owner of Buro vanDaan a small design and engineering company based in Amsterdam. Daan works for a wide range of clients, mostly in the private sector including real estate investors, developers, retail companies, property managers and private clients.
Daan specializes in the redevelopment of existing buildings. He designs new places where people can live and thrive while preserving historical values, using existing qualities and has expertise in scheme feasibility, design, enginering, permit processes and more.
Following completion of his Bachelors of Engineering (building technology) in Groningen Daan became self-employed. He is currently following a part-time masters degree in Urban and Area Development at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences.
