Troy Planning + Design has worked closely with Luton Borough Council to prepare a new Local Plan, including developing a strategy for delivery of 18,000 new homes that looks at the potential for urban regeneration and intensification, underpinned by Local Plan policies requiring adherence to good place making principles.
We have subsequently prepared five Conservation Area Appraisals and associated Management Plans, outlining the character and special qualities of each place and how these should be responded to.
Mapping work and the use of 3D visualisation tools has been used to illustrate the impact of proposed new development and tall buildings on the setting of listed buildings and conservation areas.
