Since joining Troy Planning + Design in 2021 I have been closely involved with helping prepare a number of emerging Neighbourhood Plans in Oxfordshire and Essex. This has included carrying out a character assessment of the areas, undertaking community engagement and developing the evidence base to support the Neighbourhood Plans and their policies.

I have recently completed an MSc Spatial Planning at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London (UCL). My dissertation focused on the planning system’s approach to urban greenspace development in London. I am a volunteer for Planning Aid for London (PAL) and a Member at the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

An undergraduate dissertation examining the growing importance of smart city technology has allowed me to develop an appreciation for digital innovation. This has carried over into my professional career by improving my understanding of the role of digital planning in improving the efficiency and accessibility of the planning system.

I play football for a local Sunday league team, as well as being an avid runner, a very amateur golfer, and a keen cook.
