Camden Council has commissioned Troy Planning + Design in partnership with Navigus Planning and Land Use Consultants, to prepare an Infrastructure Study in support of the emerging Site Allocations Plan. This will review and update existing borough wide infrastructure needs and consider what additional infrastructure might be needed to support potential future development.

The Local Plan, and emerging London Plan, establish opportunities for future growth of London-wide importance in Camden, as well as regeneration at the neighbourhood level. This includes major schemes such as the Euston HS2 station redevelopment, potential for transformation in Kentish Town, and intensification of town centres.

As part of the study we will be preparing an interactive web-based mapping system, showing existing and future infrastructure requirements, providing a basis for ongoing monitoring and communication with service providers.

Jon Herbert, Director with Troy Planning + Design, said:
“We are delighted to be working with Camden Council, adding to our growing portfolio of London-based Local Plan work, investigating how to shape and deliver ‘good growth’ in this challenging urban environment.”

Troy Hayes, Managing Director of Troy Planning + Design, said:
“We are looking forward to preparing the Infrastructure Study for Camden’s Site Allocations Plan. We will undertake significant engagement with key stakeholders and service providers to assess infrastructure needs and delivery options to support the planned growth in the Borough including the key growth area of Kentish Town.”
