We have been commissioned by Daventry District Council and Daventry Town Council to prepare the Daventry Town Centre Vision 2035. We are pleased that following thirteen months of working with Daventry District Council and Daventry Town Council, the local community and businesses that the Vision covering the period up to 2035 has been adopted in March 2021.
The Vision encapsulates the thoughts and views of the local community. The Vision provides a robust framework which will help to define the evolution of Daventry Town Centre up to 2035.
See the VisionDue to COVID-19 the approach for community and stakeholder engagement was reimagined using virtual and digital tools. This included us building a website as a central hub for communication and engagement, creating a virtual town tour on the and hosting multiple workshops via zoom, using instant polling and virtual whiteboards.
The response rate to the engagement stage has been unprecedented helping to ensure the new Daventry Town Centre Vision is fully inclusive and an exemplar of good place-making.
