We’re delighted to be working once again with Kingswood Parish Council as the community begins its Review of the Kingswood Neighbourhood Plan. Kingswood holds a special place in our work as its first neighbourhood plan was also our very first neighbourhood plan our practice ever prepared! Returning almost ten years later to support the Review is symbolic of how neighbourhood planning and our approach to community engagement has evolved.
Hands-on, community-led workshop
To begin the Review, we spent a day in Kingswood in October hosting a co-design workshop with local residents. The aim was to explore how the village and parish is working today, what has changed since 2016, and what new opportunities residents see for the future.
AI Visualisations as Conversation Tools
As part of the engagement process, we produced several “before and after” images of key locations in Kingswood. These are not design proposals, they are illustrative prompts used to spark conversation and help residents visualise possibilities.
