We have been commissioned to undertake the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham’s first Infrastructure Delivery Plan on behalf of Be First, the Council’s in-house regeneration team.
The emerging Local Plan has allocated approximately 40,000 new homes and 20,000 additional jobs in Barking and Dagenham over the next 15 years. A significant level of this development is earmarked on former industrial sites at Barking Riverside and Dagenham Dock.
The Infrastructure Delivery Plan will assess the current and proposed infrastructure requirements for the borough. Central to this work, we are engaging with key service providers and are developing an innovative interactive map which will highlight major infrastructure projects planned for the area.
