We have been commissioned by London Colney Parish Council to support production of a Neighbourhood Plan. Located in St Albans District, where an emerging Local Plan was recently withdrawn from examination, and where the current Local Plan dates back to 1994, the Neighbourhood Plan will be vital in filling the policy vacuum and present up-to-date, locally specific policies for London Colney.
Work commenced with the hosting of an interactive, on-line workshop with residents and community representatives, making use of tools such as instant polling. Together with wider consultation feedback, including a poster competition for primary school children, a vision and set of objectives are currently being prepared that will frame policies and projects.
